# Delete Category Attribute

Deletes an attribute of the tenant's own from the Category definition, within the request:
every category loses its value for it, in every language, and it leaves the category form,
the Excel views and whatever else hangs from it. No snapshot is taken before: nothing keeps
its values. The attributes of the platform's own cannot be deleted.
## Response
**204 No Content** — the attribute is deleted. **409 Conflict** — it belongs to the platform,
or its deletion is already pending.
